Recently, due to global COVID-19 pandemic, our actions are limited.

Soon we are hoping to get back to work with full capacity and share more with you!

As far as we know, this humble instrument is the only continuo organ in the country. It was built in 1997 by well-known British organ-builder Robin Jennings. We are proud to have made it alive and capable of displaying its beauty on the stages. The process took place in The Cathedral of Holy Spirit in Istanbul following its transfer from Istanbul Culture and Art Foundation store. To prepare the instrument for the Bernius Project concerts in November 2021 which were organized by State Polyphonic Choir and Rezonans Choir, we worked hard during October 2021. The small gallery on the right presents several photos regarding the repair period and result.

We are proud to share with you the successful completion of 1965-built Werner-Bosch organ located in the historical hall of Presidential Symphony Orchestra in Ankara. The restoration was done during May-September 2021.

After the former restoration in 2006, it became out of use due to its rare use. It is an indescribable feeling that hearing the organ with its full capacity in the hall again after handling its all action and electronic systems. Thanks to its restoration, there arose a great opportunity for music students, artists and organists to organize events or practice the instrument. One more instrument among our heritage became alive. Small gallery on the right side has been presented here to give you a brief idea of what was done.

Our Third Organ Concert took place at St. Mary Church in Sarıyer/Istanbul on the 1st of January 2020, following our third restoration on a very modest Gebrüder-Rieger pipe organ built in 1896.

We did our best to carefully chose our repertoire for this small organ, beginning and ending with Masters of organ composition. Once more, high attention was paid to perform pieces from such composers who are not commonly known, yet were great in their times.

For more details of this organ please click on the image on the left, or go through our video gallery section.

Our third restoration project is with the organ in Santa Maria Church built by well-known Autria-Hungarian builder Gebrüder-Rieger. It was built for the second chapel of Notre-Dame de Sion French High School. After the chapel was transformed to a concert hall, the organ was relocated in the church considering it will better serve there. After long years of silence, it became an instrument even able to perform in a concert.

Our second restoration project was with another British organ located in St. Helena Chapel next to the British Consulate. It was built in 1888 by Hill & Son. After a bombing incident in 2000s, the chapel roof partially fell unto the organ and seriously damaged the pedal division. The project was finished with a careful work and the organ became playable as much as possible depending on the time’s conditions.

After 3 months, it was an instrument which was cleaned and fully tuned, finally ready to show itself for concert performance.
